बाबाको माया (Father's Love)

कविता (Poem)

बाबा हजुरकोकाखमा म बस्न चाहान्छु

हजुरले दिएको हातको भात म खान चाहान्छु ।

(I want to sit in my father's lap,

I want to eat the rice fed by his hand.)

मेरो सानोमनलेछोरीको स्थान खोज्छ

यो मन बाबालाई सम्झेर धेरै रुन्छ ।

(My little heart seeks the place of a daughter,

This heart cries a lot remembering you, Father.)

पहिला पहिला मेरो बाबा मलाई समातेर धेरै रुनुहुन्थ्यो रे

मैले नबुझेर हजुर किन रुनुभएको ? भन्थे रे ।

(In the past, my father used to hold me and cry often,

They say I used to ask, "Why are you crying?"

because I didn't understand.)

अहिले सपना भयो मेरो बाबाको आवाज

मलाई हुन थाल्यो कोही नभएको आभास । ( २)

(Now, my father's voice has become a dream,

I have started to feel like I have no one at all.)
