Spelling Bee Held at Kopila Valley School: Top 3s Selected for Inter-School Spelling Bee

On the 31st ofJuly, 2025, Kopila Valley School held an exciting spelling bee. Students from different classes took part and showed their spelling skills at the amphitheater. Students competed in three levels: primary, middle school, and secondary. Twelve students participated, four from each class. They did their best. Everyone enjoyed this program, which was organized by the English Department.
The top three finalists– Rakshya from Grade 10, Sandhya Aauji, and Ankit Sunar from Grade 12 have to prepare for the inter-school spelling bee. Similarly, Janak Pariyar (Grade 7), Hiramani Jaisi (Grade 8), and Prajwal Shahi (Grade 8)
from the middle school and Erik Bashyal(Grade 5), Aavash Rawal (Grade 5), and Bardan Khadka (Grade 4) from the primary level are also selected for the inter-school spelling bee for their levels.
The spelling bee consisted of five rounds, where participants had to spin and select a number corresponding to the word they would spell. The competition aimed to enhance vocabulary, learn the format and build confidence among students.
"I was not prepared enough, I was about to give up before the competition, but now I am here" one of the finalists, Rakshya, said happily. Â
The event concluded with encouraging words from judges , pronouncers and others' appreciation towards participants and finalists.
"Spelling is not just about words ; it's about focus, preparation and confidence. One of our teachers said, "We're proud of every student who participated today."
The spelling bee at Kopila Valley School proved to be more than a competition; it was a joyful celebration of curiosity, courage, and the power of words.Â
